Week beginning: 12.09.2022
This week, has been another success for year 5. Many pupils have received classroom Dojos for exceptionally creative work and trying their absolute best.
In Geography we have been considering the spread of the Roman Empire and how the Romans conquered much of modern-day Europe. The children enjoyed exploring why Scotland and Ireland were not conquered.
Science this week, allowed pupils to consider the importance of investigating and apply their knowledge of the properties of everyday materials. Pupils were encouraged to think 'outside the box' when thinking of the materials they would use to produce some common household products.
Pupils were encouraged to be independent learners when recalling their knowledge on Christianity while considering the impact these beliefs have on our society today.
