Week beginning: 04.07.2022
This week in Year 4, we finished our learning of the Indus Valley in our history lessons. This week we learnt about a variety of theories that historians had for the reason the Indus Valley civilisation ended. Then, in small groups, we created a news report about one of the reasons the civilisation ended. We performed them to the class and filmed them like a real new report!
In French this week we completed our double page spreads that showcase our fantastic work. We have learnt how to say various items of clothing in French, wrote some conversation sentences about what people were wearing and did a listening quiz to see if we could hear the items of clothing being mentioned! We put lots of effort into our double page spreads and they look great!
We also had our sport day this week! Miss Roberts, Miss Jackson, Miss Clarke and Mrs Marable were blown away with the fantastic perseverance, determination and fantastic sportsmanship that was displayed by all the children. A big well done! An extra congratulations to Danes who won our Year 4 sports day!
On Wednesday we had our year 4 hockey tournament too! Each child was assigned a countries team to play for. Everyone was fantastic and our hockey skills have really improved! Well done to our year 4 winning team...Argentina!
