This week in maths, we started learning how to use a protractor to measure angles successfully. In music, we have begun our new genre, Hip Hop and have been learning the Prince of Bel-Air.

Continuing with our topic Africa, we have been exploring the wonders and sights of the continent, and using these to write our own persuasive holiday brochure.

We also started to read our new class text, The Butterfly Lion by Michael Morpurgo; we predicted what would happen in the text and generated our own questions that would help us understand the text further.

To help us understand the life cycle of a butterfly, some visitors arrived and have been growing over the past two weeks. They are now in chrysalis form and we can't wait for them to emerge from their cocoon as beautiful butterflies.
