Week beginning: 20.06.2022
On Monday and Tuesday, some of the year group spent the night away at Wild Child! They stayed in their own tents and took part in a range of activities. They were able to abseil down walls, start fires, build their own survival dens, climb walls and shoot arrows in archery.
The children had a fantastic time singing around the camp fire, playing scavenger hunt games and building new friendships.
At school, the year 5 children were busy learning more about Africa and creating their own diorama showing what they had learnt about African animals and their habitats. Using now press play, they interacted with a story focusing on recycling and how it affects our planet.
