Wow! What a week. This week we have been learning about mechanisms in design and technology. We have learnt about pulleys, wheels, axles and incline planes. Using this learning, we have designed, planned and created our own French guillotine that would have been used as a punishment during the 18th century in France. We have used a variety of woodworking skills, such as sawing and sanding to create our designs.
