We have had a great week in Year 5. In history, we have continued our learning of Crime and Punishment with a focus on Anglo-Saxons. We enjoyed debating which punishment should be received for a crime and whether they would prefer the Anglo-Saxon punishment or Modern-day punishment.

We also had a great time learning about white rhinos on World Rhino Day. We joined an artist, John Dyer, who talked us through painting a savannah.

As well as that, in science we have been exploring materials and classifying these using scientific properties.
